The versatile Sound Construction Task Compact 4?2 Studio Desks are perfect for working with desktop fader control surfaces or desktop audio mixers. The SCS Task Compact 4?2 is a smaller version of the SCS Task 4?2 Studio Desk.

SCS Task Compact 4?2 Studio Desks feature two (2) desktop 4RU racks with 5 degree slant for easing viewing. Convenient cable raceways allow easy component connectivity while keep the wires out of sight. The recessed computer monitor shelf is wide enough to accommodate one 27? monitor while keeping it out of the speaker paths and maintaining good sight lines.

Durable laminated desk tops protect and provide a smooth writing surface for the all wood construction.

The standard base support options include your choice of:

• Two (2) Straight 12RU Base Racks or
• Two (2) Slanted 12RU Base Racks or
• One (1) Metal Leg and One Base Rack or
• Two (2) Metal Legs

Standard rack base supports are available as Slanted with 11? face or as Straight 90? face with Twelve (12RU) rack rails for 19? rack mount equipment and rack mount computer kits. Add an optional computer keyboard and mouse tray with ergonomic flexibility of adjustable height. It also conveniently slides under the desk for storage. The top surface of the keyboard & mouse has a laminated surface to protect the wood tray and its hardwood trim can be specified to match the studio desk furniture. It’s sturdy wood and metal construction ensures long lasting usability and comes completely pre-assembled. It has easy-grab handles lock the sliding and height functionality in place.
